Younan Music takes over Flash for a label night, showcasing talent from their deep and diverse roster.

DJ JoeSki was born in Brooklyn NY, and raised in a highly diversified and urban neighborhood in Corona, Queens, growing up a short ride away from the New York City Underground House scene. In 1991, JoeSki was booked to play at NYC Wunder Bar. Located in the heart of crowded Manhattan, where tall buildings lined the street and hundreds of people waited outside of the front of the club; where promoters used thick velvet ropes, guest lists, and bouncers to control the crowd of people waiting to be selected to come inside for the night. The demand to get into a an exclusive house club was then insatiable.

Over the next few years JoeSki began to build a career domestically, and became one of the founders of “The Chocolate Factory.” His career buoyed by historical NYC clubs such as The Limelight, Tunnel, Palladium, and NASA. JoeSki then hooked up with DJ Keoki, after which they played together at the infamous East Village after-hours club Save the Robots. Shortly after, he accepted a residency at “Together” party Friday nights at the Roxy, where he was privileged to play alongside America’s finest DJ’s including Danny T, Little Louie Vega and Roger Sanchez.

International bookings started to flow, and he began a residency at Groove Society in Montreal. He returned home to build a studio in the late 90s,and worked hard at distinguishing himself as a producer. In 2000, Joeski came out, roaring, with a series of tracks and remixes on Siesta, Junior Boys Own, Ministry of Sound, Tango, Electric Soul and more.

“Flower of Life”. This short but very rich concept is thanks to the flower of life.
Long before Sumeria existed before Egypt built Sakkara before it blossomed the Indus Valley, the spirit lived in human bodies, dancing in high culture. The Sphinx knows the truth. We are much more than we know. We have forgotten. The Flower of Life was and is known for a lifetime. Lifetime, not just here but everywhere, knew it was the pattern of creating the driveway and exit. The Spirit created us in this picture. You know it’s true; it is written in your body, all your bodies. Long ago we hit a very high level of consciousness and memories are just now beginning to emerge. The birth of our new / old consciousness here on Earth, forever change us and take us back to the realization that there is truly only one Spirit. It is a culture that believes deeply in God, family, children, spirit, Mother Earth, a healthy environment, femininity, honesty, meditation, life on other planets and the unity of all life everywhere . The members of this new culture believe, according to the study, which are few and far between. The survey found, however, to the complete surprise of everyone, “they” are one in four adults in the United States – a staggering 44 million adults! Something huge is happening here. Now that moving the money are aware of this huge new market, you can bet that things will change. Everything will be affected, from film and TV content, to the use of energy, the food we eat and more. Even our own interpretation of reality may change eventually. – About our guest – ( MR.C )

Richard West aka Mr.C was born in London in the late 60’s. He started MCing in London clubs aged only 16 & soon earned a reputation as a fast talking vivacious rapper working with LWR radio’s Ron Tom, Jasper the Vinyl Junkie & Jazzy M. Mr.C then hooked up with Colin Faver & Evil Eddie Richards to became resident rapper at the legendary Camden Palace going on to MC for Colin Faver on the then illegal pirate radio station Kiss FM. Mr.C went into the studio to record his 1st house track with Eddie Richards as Myster-E which was released in August 1987. This inspired Mr.C to become a DJ to learn more about his beloved House & Techno music so in late ’87 Richard took to the decks. Mr.C has since organized, promoted & been resident DJ at: Fantasy (’88), Base (Dungeons ’89), Release (91), Harmony (92), Drop (93), Cyclone (94), Vapourspace (94 & 95), Flavour (The End 95 & 96), Subterrain (The End 95 – 2002), Superfreq (Worldwide 2002 – Present) & Super Disco Freq (LA 2010 – present).

In December 1995 Mr.C opened the legendary night club The End in London with Partner Layo Paskin & then AKA bar 3 years later, which celebrated its 13th anniversary in December 2008.
Sadly The End & AKA closed its doors for good on January 24th 2009. 1 Chapter closes & another begins.

Mr.C is founder & owner of Plink Plonk records, cofounder of End Recordings & cofounder & owner of the Superfreq label. Mr.C has recorded under the names, Myster-E, Unity 2, Nu Jacks, Bass Bureau, The Shamen, Mantrac, Somnambulist, Animus Amour, Killer Loop, Mr.C & Tom Parris, Mr.C & 16B ,Sycophant Slags & Indigo Kidz.
Mr.C is best known as front man of the pop group The Shamen with whom he notched up a string of top 10 hits including Move Any Mountain & the UK number 1 smash hit Ebeneezer Goode. The Shamen also won a highly coveted Ivor Novelo for Songwriters of the year UK in 1992. Richard’s currently recording solo as Mr.C & is also doing collaborations as the Sycophant Slags with Francis Harris aka Adultnapper, as the Indigo Kidz with Affie Yusuf, with [a]pendics.shuffle & with Omid 16b & has recent releases on Poker Flat, Wagon Repair Records, Get Physical Records & Adjunct Audio as well as his own Superfreq imprint.
In 2013 alone Mr.C has released his long awaited Mr.C album Smell The Coffee, 3 solo singles & 2 Indigo Kidz releases on Superfreq, his Hechizo track for Get Physical as well as remixes for Mikael Stavöstrand & David Scuba for Riff Raff, as well as remixes for Joint Custody, Xo Chic & House of 909 all on Superfreq. Mr.C’s next production releases will be his Remixes as both Mr.C 7 Indigo Kidz on Affie Yusuf’s rebirth EP on March 3rd 2014. With a stream of productions still to come out over the coming months, Mr.C is well a truly creating shockwaves with his production output.

Mr.C runs & promotes Superfreq events, which will celebrate being 12 years old in March 2014 & ran monthly at Mr.C’s club The End until it closed down in January 2009. Superfreq functions almost monthly in London, a bi-annual residency at the legendary nightclub Fabric & the rest of the time hopping around London’s warehouse venues. Superfreq also does quarterly events at Hollywood’s hottest venue Sound in Los Angeles & monthly events in Calais France, as well as holding down a quarterly residencies at Tree House in Miami & Output in Brooklyn & hosting bi-annual residencies at La Santanera in Playa Del Carmen, various venues in Chicago & Junk Club in Southampton UK. This is on top annual events in Russia, Ibiza, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Dallas, Denver & San Francisco & other one of events the world over.
Superfreq has accomplished 7 successful seasons in Ibiza, 3 at Club Underground, 2 at the legendary DC10, 1 season at Blu & 3 events at Aura & regularly hosts events at BPM Festival & WMC Festival in Miami & will be hosting events in 2014 at BPM, WMC, DEMF, Sonar, Burning Man & ADE.

Universe Music

The harmony of the spheres is an old theory of Pythagorean origin, based on the idea that the universe is governed according harmonious numerical ratios and that the movement of the heavenly bodies as the geocentric representation of the universe – the sun, moon and planets – is governed by musical proportions ; the distances between planets correspond , according to this theory , the intervals musicales.1
The Greek word harmonia tou kosmou translates as ” harmony of the cosmos ‘ or ‘ universal music ‘; the word harmony by good proportions between the parts and the whole , in a mathematical but also “esoteric” meaning is understood here as the Pythagorean mysticism. The word music ( mousike ) refers to “the art of the Muses ” and “Apollo” , ie , a ” culture of artistic or scientific spirit.” The term “spheres” is of Aristotelian origin and designates the area of ​​influence of a planet ( Treaty of Heaven) .
The theory of the harmony of the spheres of the Pythagoreans is documented in antiguos2 texts from Plato ( The Republic , 530d and 617b ; Crito , 405c ) and especially Aristotle ( Treaty of heaven, 290b12 ) . This theory continued to exert influence even great thinkers and humanists of the Renaissance to the end .
Einstein once said that while Beethoven created his music, Mozart’s “was so pure that it seemed to have been ever-present in the universe, waiting to be discovered by the master.” Einstein believed much the same of physics, that beyond observations and theory lay the music of the spheres — which, he wrote, revealed a “pre-established harmony” exhibiting stunning symmetries. The laws of nature, such as those of relativity theory, were waiting to be plucked out of the cosmos by someone with a sympathetic ear.
