Sebastian Velazquez aka Cbass , a native of Caracas , Venezuela . From an early age he was attracted by the music when he began playing guitar at age 12 . A few years later, he attended his first rave party where I first saw perform live to a DJ is then that decides to learn to mastering the techniques of mixing. Start making your home mixtures using two cassette players imitating what he saw. Years later he was presented the opportunity to experiment with professional  CDJ turntables and became eternally trapped by the turn of the music.

His musical influences are varied, from artists such as Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Soda Stereo , The Beatles , La Bamba and a full range of Latin rhythms that dominate in south America; salsa, merengue and reggaeton . These influences are added the rhythms and sounds acquired in his travels through different continents. C -Bass particular style and passion for dance music focusing on the House, Deep House, Techno and sharing his playlists on different platforms on countries such as: Venezuela , Mexico , USA, Spain , Holland and Belgium .

Now living in Mexico City, he can be heard at parties earn his way to residency at the ” Paty Like a Blockstar ” in the popular nightclub BLOCK . In turn, works on his side project as a songwriter named BASTIAN with which merges the romantic ballad , reggae and electronic music .

Sebastián Velázquez a.k.a C­Bass, es oriundo de la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela. Desde temprana edad sintió atracción por la música cuando empezó a tocar guitarra a los 12 años. Pocos anos después, asistió a su primera fiesta electrónica donde por primera vez vio tocar en vivo a un dj , es entonces que decide aprender a masterizar las técnicas de la mezcla. Empieza a hacer sus mezclas en casa utilizando dos reproductores de cassette imitando lo que veía. Años mas tarde se le presento la oportunidad de experimentar con equipos profesionales de tornamesas y cdjs quedando eternamente atrapado por el girar de los platos.

Su influencia musical es muy variada, desde artistas como Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Soda Stereo, The Beatles, La Bamba y toda la gama de ritmos latinos que predominan en su país; la salsa, el merengue y el reggaetón. A estas influencias se le suman los ritmos y sonidos adquiridos en sus viajes por los diferentes continentes del mundo. C-Bass concreta su estilo y pasión por la música dance enfocándose en el House, Deep House, y el Techno, compartiendo sus playlists en diferentes tarimas en países como Venezuela, México, Estados Unidos, España, Holanda y Bélgica.

Ahora reside en la ciudad de México donde se le puede escuchar recurrentemente en las fiestas “Paty Like a Blockstar” en la conocida discoteca BLOCK. A su vez, trabaja en su proyecto alterno como cantautor llamado BASTIAN con el cual fusiona la balada romántica, el reggae y la música electrónica.

Deep Dish first rose to prominence following the 1998 release of their groundbreaking debut album, Junk Science. Since then, the two have spent their time trotting around the globe at the request of the world’s top clubs and creating celebrated remixes for some of the world’s top artists, such as Madonna, Dido, The Rolling Stones, and Brother Brown. It was there take on Dido’s “Thank You” that landed the two their first Grammy win in 2002.

Its been 23 years since the duo first met in DC, and its been sixteen years since they released their critically acclaimed debut artist album Junk Science. Over the years, the prolific duo have released a number of genre-defining mixed CDs and have become two of the most in demand remixers in the business. In fact, their remixing prowess earned them a Grammy nomination in 2001 in the Remixer Of The Year category and in 2002 they were nominated and won the Grammy in the Best Remixed Recording giving their treatment to Didos single “Thank You”. Through it all, Dubfire and Sharam maintain a very active worldwide tour schedule.

Rob Garza (Thievery Corporation)

Founding member of international music group Thievery Corporation, Rob Garza’s career includes decades-worth of accolades as a pioneer of a flourishing electronic music movement. Originally hailing from Washington, DC, Garza’s legacy includes the formation of ESL Music, as well as a timeless music catalog that still in rotation today. His infusion of electronic music with the international flavors of dub, trip hop, reggae, and bossa nova gave birth to an new era of sound that has attracted a cult following across the decades. Since relocating to San Francisco, Garza’s new experimentations take him to the far corners of the globe with solo DJ sets showcasing the best of Deep House and Nu-Disco.

For Garza – who’s devoted much of his life to creating a richly-textured foundation that’s defined Thievery Corporation – solo appearances for more intimate audiences inspires new creations based off the culture and styles encountered during his travels. Whether opening for Paul McCartney with Thievery, DJing in Nepal for climbers tackling Mt. Everest, or in more obscure clubs in remote corners of the world, an impeccable taste in music style resonates through the foundation of every show.

For inspiration, Garza continues to mine the sounds he’s discovered through traveling the global dance scene.” When I first came to San Francisco, I returned to my electronic roots in the dance community while also spending a great amount of time in Mexico, where there is a great dance music scene” says Garza. “There’s so much going on in terms of people taking influences from all these different genres—like house and dub and new wave and disco—and putting it all together in a way that’s very new and original and inspiring to my own music.”

UNER:
UNER is one of the most important names of the new generation of Spanish electronic music producers. His musical training allowed him to develop at a very early age a different dance music concept, based on the pleasure for harmony and the search for a unique, personal sound. This has lead him to edit for labels like Diynamic (where he’s an active member and has edited some of his most celebrated works, “Raw Sweat” and “Bassboot”, one of the most RA Top Charted Tracks in 201 1 ), Cadenza (making his debut on the label with “Pallene” and “Cocoua”, most-hyped UNER’s tracks ever), 2020 Vision, Get Physical, Cécille or Visionquest to mention a few. UNER has earned the respect of the music industry with talent and work: names like Luciano, Carl Cox or Laurent Garnier play his music on a regular basis; clubs like Berlin’s Watergate or Space, Pacha and Ushuaia Ibiza. Festivals like Sonar, Monegros or Rock In Rio book him often.

Apart from traveling around the world as a Dj, in 2012 UNER is still developing the live performance act, an audiovisual concept in which he uses state-of-the-art software and hardware (from iPads to mini midi keyboards) to explore his most solid, personal side. The artistic expansion of the Catalonian producer will go on during the following months with the release of his debut album where he’ll express his way of understanding electronic music from a musical point of view and from the center of the dancefloor. UNER’s bound to reach higher tops with the only limit of his music… so there’s still loads to see, listen and dance.

RNS:
R- Raised in the national Capitol area, but hailing from South and Central American backgrounds (R-Mexico and Bolivia /S-El’ Salvador).

N- Not your ordinary DJ duo, Rafael Garcia and Selwyn Avelar are on a robotic mission to pump out inventive and imaginative music that pleases the electronic ear. They are a team that never gives up. These two know what it takes to follow a dream; nothing but hard work and devotion to the music they create and love.

S- Sounds like a wicked blend of Tech House with groovy bass lines and Indie vocals that progressively arouse the listener’s ear. Futuristic synths are then combined to create a strange and mesmerizing sound, provoking a heated desire to let the music take over all of your senses.

Long before Sumeria existed before Egypt built Sakkara before it blossomed the Indus Valley, the spirit lived in human bodies, dancing in high culture. The Sphinx knows the truth. We are much more than we know. We have forgotten. The Flower of Life was and is known for a lifetime. Lifetime, not just here but everywhere, knew it was the pattern of creating the driveway and exit. The Spirit created us in this picture. You know it’s true; it is written in your body, all your bodies. Long ago we hit a very high level of consciousness and memories are just now beginning to emerge. The birth of our new / old consciousness here on Earth, forever change us and take us back to the realization that there is truly only one Spirit. It is a culture that believes deeply in God, family, children, spirit, Mother Earth, a healthy environment, femininity, honesty, meditation, life on other planets and the unity of all life everywhere . The members of this new culture believe, according to the study, which are few and far between. The survey found, however, to the complete surprise of everyone, “they” are one in four adults in the United States – a staggering 44 million adults! Something huge is happening here. Now that moving the money are aware of this huge new market, you can bet that things will change. Everything will be affected, from film and TV content, to the use of energy, the food we eat and more. Even our own interpretation of reality may change eventually. Meet Alfredo Mena From Caracas Venezuela

Alfredo Mena Profile Page ImageAlfredo Mena was born in Caracas, Venezuela.  At the age of fifteen he began his career as a Disk Jockey in one of the most prestigious mobile discoteks from the 90’s  called “The New York People” where he gained popularity by blending sharp mixes with three MK2 turntables at the same time.  This solid foundation on live remixing quickly lead him to be known as one of the best DJ’s from miniteca-1Venezuela.

Later he becoming a resident on one of the  hottest party radio station of  Venezuela Hot 94 on the show “De Rumba 94” where Mena was able to show to masses his true infatuation with sound combining deep Latin grooves with classic melodies riffs from the 90’s
that would hook the dance floor for decades.

Naturally he evolved into his musical journey by becoming a producer,  falling deeper in love with the creation of his unique sound. Mena got the attention of major  respected European Techno & Deep House labels.
